This year, we are hosting four summer research students. Areeba and Haripriya them are under the 'IISc-Agastya programme'. Sineagha will be doing her M.Sc thesis, and Aastha will be doing her B.Sc internship project in the coming months.

Prof. Sourav data is the Head and Associate Professor Department of Biological Sciences Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India. On his visit to IISc, he delivers a talk on "The BBX code: regulating light-mediated development and responses in plants”

The lab hosted Prof. Vytas A. Bankaitis, TexasA&M Health Sciences Center.
Prof. Vytas. A. Bankaitis is the E.L. Wehner-Welch Chair in Chemistry, at Texas A & M Health Sciences Center. He presented his work entitled “Phosphatidyl inositol Transfer Proteins and Neural Stem Cell Homeostasis in Mammalian Brain”. The lab had a wonderful time with him here.
